आज के समय में कंडोम का इस्तेमाल भला कौन नहीं करता है। किसी को बच्चा नहीं चाहिए तो किसी को बिमारी। कोई मजबूर है तो कोई शौक से भी लगाता है। मेरे पहचान में तो एक सज्जन ऐसे हैं जो कंडोम केवल इसलिए इस्तेमाल करते हैं कि वो फट जाए। उन्हें इसी में आनंद आता है। खैर जो भी हो, इतना तो तय है कि कंडोम सभी के लिए जरूरी है।
सरकार से लेकर विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन तक सभी, कंडोम के इस्तेमाल के लिए प्रोत्साहित करते हैं। फाड़ने के लिए नहीं, बल्कि सुरक्षा के लिहाज से। विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन के अनुसार हर साल करीब 500 मिलियन लोग क्लेमेडिया और सिफलिस से प्रभावित होते हैं।इंडियन काउंसिल ऑफ मेडिकल रिसर्च की एक स्टडी में पाया गया कि भारत में हर साल करीब 30 से 35 मिलियन नए यौन संबंधी बीमारियों के केस सामने आते हैं।
